The Town of Mount Pleasant Roadside Historical Marker Timeline places the events recorded on the Town of Mount Pleasant Roadside Historical Marker Program within the broader context of state, national, and world history. The timeline is not meant to be an exhaustive history of the town, state, nation, or world but a convenient and informative resource to enhance learning, the humanities, and to promote further study of local history.


Instructions
Click on a CRESCO: Event entries with a CRESCO logo indicate a link to information contained in the Town of Mount Pleasant Roadside Historical Marker Program. Please disregard the MK notation before CRESCO entries. The MK notation is for internal database use only.


Click on an Event Entry: Event entries with highlighted, underlined text may contain additional information, images, and/or web site links. Click on the entry to access the information. Also, multiple event entries may be contained within each year and within each category. When you select an individual event entry, all event entries within the category for the year will be displayed in a “pop up” window.
